На записях SmackDown, который будет показан в эту пятницу, произошел интересный случай.
За нападение на Мэтта Харди Тедди Лонг уволил Дрю МакИнтайра. Естественно, при этом Дрю потерял свой титул Интерконтинентального Чемпиона. Обладатель титула определится в ближайшее время на турнире, в котором примут участие Кофи Кингстон, Коди Родес, Кристиан и Долф Зигглер.

* Шоу начинается с показа фьюда Биг Шоу и Джэка Суэггера. Аннонсируется матч Кейна и Суэггера, который пройдет в конце шоу.
*К рингу выходит Мэтт Харди, который толкает промо на тему Дрю Макинтайра. Дрю выбегает на ринг и начинает уничтожать Мэтта. Выхожит Тедди Лонг и приказывает Дрю остановиться. Тот не слушает. * Drew McIntyre came out and gave Teddy Long a piece of paper, forcing Long to strip Kingston of the Intercontinental Championship. Matt Striker read the note which was from Vince McMahon. It stated McIntyre was reinstated and still recognized as the Intercontinental Champion.
* Jack Swagger is shown backstage as some guys are seen unloading boxes from a truck.
* Shad Gaspard b. a local worker.
* JTG & MVP b. The Dudebusters
* CM Punk is backstage with Luke Gallows and Serena. He tells them he'll be coming out alone tonight for a match against Rey Mysterio because of the doubt they showed in him last week.
* World Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger came out for an in-ring promo. There were all kinds of his personal possessions in the ring for the segment such as his Letterman's jacket and amateur wrestling trophies. Swagger showed a photo of himself winning his third state of Oklahoma wrestling title plus his homecoming king crown in high school. He also showed a picture of him in an Oklahoma Sooners uniform with head football coach Bob Stoops. Swagger put over his personal accomplishments, including mentioning a deli sandwich in Oklahoma named after him called The Swagger. Big Show finally came out to interrupt the segment. He tore up the set, destroying Swagger's trophies and accomplishments.
* Teddy Long announced the dark match main event as Jack Swagger vs. Big Show for the World Heavyweight Championship.
* Beth Phoenix vs. Rosa Mendes is up next. Vickie Guerrero comes out and tells Mendes to leave. She announces a two-on-one handicap match for the WWE Women's Championship. The new match is Beth Phoenix vs. Michelle McCool and Layla. Beth is unable to fight them off as Layla ends up getting the pin. The stipulation is so that Michelle McCool wins back the title. So new WWE Women's Champion, Michelle McCool.
* Kane b. Chavo Guerrero so that should put any questions aside about Kane's injury status.
* Teddy Long tells Drew McIntyre backstage McIntyre will take on Big Show next week.
* Rey Mysterio b. CM Punk via disqualification. The masked attacker took out Mysterio when he hit the 619 which caused the disqualification. The Straight Edge Society posed in the ring with the masked attacker to end the show.Сообщение

Punk leads the Straight Edge Pledge. The three indy workers all have their heads shave bald. Rey Mysterio comes out and shows photos on the big screen of what Punk would look like bald. * The Peep Show with Christian and his guest Hornswoggle. Christian teaches Hornswoggle Canadian terms such as "eh", beer and hockey. Vickie Guerrero comes out with Chavo. She announces she's shutting down the Peep Show. Dolph Ziggler ends up coming out and attack Christian from behind.

WWE taped this week's edition of Smackdown tonight from the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio. Thanks to Wrestling News World reader Drew Acklin for providing us with text-message updates. Below are full results:
WWE Smackdown (Airing Friday on MyNetworkTV):
* It's announced that Kane will take on CM Punk and Rey Mysterio will take on The Undertaker. Both of the winners will face Big Show and Jack Swagger in a Fatal Four Way Match for the World Heavyweight Championship at WWE Fatal Four Way next month.
* It's announced due to Matt Hardy's actions at WWE Over The Limit, he is suspended indefinitely.
* WWE Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston & Big Show b. World Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger & Drew McIntyre after Show hit the knockout punch on McIntyre.
* Christian & Hornswoggle vs. Dolph Ziggler & Chavo Guerrero is announced for later tonight.
* CM Punk b. Kane after hitting GTS. I'm told Punk botched GTS badly two times and he received a lot of heat from the crowd not because of being over but because he couldn't properly execute his finisher. Kane completely flopped out of it after the second attempt which was followed by a pinfall.
* Christian & Hornswoggle b. Chavo Guerrero & Dolph Ziggler after Christian hit the Kill Switch on Chavo.
* The Undertaker b. Rey Mysterio. I'm told Undertaker displayed some ring rust and both were off. After the match, Jack Swagger came out and starting beating up on Mysterio. R-Truth, MVP, Christian, JTG and Matt Hardy came out and beat up on Swagger to end the show.
