Despite this morning's John O'Shea to Arsenal rumours, Setanta Sports are now reporting that the Irish defender is expected to sign for Sunderland next week.
The Guardian says O'Shea is expected to sign for Sunderland early next week. United manager Sir Alex Ferguson agreed to sell the Irishman, as well as Wes Brown and Darron Gibson, to the Wearside club last month. O'Shea is the first of the three players to accept a deal.
Italian paper La Gazzetta dello Sport claim Manchester United are interested in Rennes midfielder Yann M'Vila. He's 21 years old and signed a new deal with the French side in May, although Gazzetta believes Sir Alex is prepared to part with about £15million to secure his services.
