Wesley Sneijder's Manchester United move 'looks imminent' - report
Crunch Sports Staff - 12 Jul 2011 Inter Milan midfielder Wesley Sneijder WILL reportedly join Manchester United this week in a £35million deal - and has already started looking for a house in Manchester.
Sneijder on Monday was quoted in a magazine interview as saying he will leave Inter this summer if the club decide to sell him (see below).
His comments came as Inter coach Gian Piero Gasperini said the 27-year-old "wants to remain" at the club next season.
But according to The Sun, the Netherlands international, who recently called United "a beautiful club," is ready to move to Old Trafford in a £35million deal.
And the Dutchman, who is seen by Ferguson as a replacement for Paul Scholes, has already been seeking advice on where to live.
With United boss Sir Alex Ferguson admitting he is unlikely to sign Samir Nasri from Arsenal (see below), Sneijder is now the Scot's top transfer target.
And a team-mate was quoted by the newspaper as saying: "Everyone expects Wesley's move to United to be announced soon, maybe as early as Wednesday."
The source added: "He has even spoken to Dutch international team-mate Nigel de Jong to find out where are the best places to live in Manchester.
"It all looks imminent, no matter what Inter or Wesley may say in public.
"It seems Inter want to sell but don't want to admit it, while Wesley wants to go but doesn't want to say it. It's a good move for him and good business for Inter."
Sneijder's arrival will take Ferguson's summer spending to more than £85m following the arrivals at the club of David De Gea, Phil Jones and Ashley Young.
Sneijder would likely pick up over £200,000-a-WEEK by joining the Premier League champions.
"It seems Inter want to sell but don't want to admit it, while Wesley wants to go but doesn't want to say it. It's a good move for him and good business for Inter."

Here it goes: The Sun claim Manchester United will sign Wesley Sneijder in a club-record £35 Million transfer as early as this week.
I wonder did The Sun hack Wes' phone also ? #MUFC
