Sensei Mitsuteru Ueshiba - Son of 3rd Doshu - Wakasensei (Young teacher)

Born: Around 1980

Mitsuteru Ueshiba is the great grandson of O'Sensei and will one day follow the footsteps of his grandfather and his father and become doshu. Mitsuteru will become the fourth Doshu. But until then will be known as wakasensei.
The name Mitsuteru has the meaning of 'filling', 'succeeding' or 'satisfying' the 'centre' and might thus be a hint from his father as to his expected future role in aikido.

Mitsuteru will have to learn as much as possible over the next few decades as one day he will be the 4th Doshu.

Mitsuteru Ueshiba (植芝 充央 Ueshiba Mitsuteru, born 1980) is the son of the third and current dōshu of the Aikikai, Moriteru Ueshiba and is expected to succeed his father in that role, becoming the Fourth Dōshu (四代道主). He is a great-grandson of Morihei Ueshiba, the founder of aikido.
